INSIGHT WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT, Inc. (IWM) is directed by ecologist Chris Morgan (MS Ecology) from Bellingham, Washington State, USA. Chris's work has focused on carnivore research, and specifically bear ecology for the last thirteen years. He has worked on bear research and education projects on every continent where bears are found, in regions including northern Spain, the Pakistani Himalayas, the Canadian Arctic, Ecuador, the Canadian Rockies and the USA.

The promotion of landscape, ecosystem and habitat protection through bear conservation and appreciation provides a central goal for INSIGHT. As a consultancy business, we provide ecological research, project management and environmental education services to government agencies, the public sector, non-government organizations and industry from the local to the international level. INSIGHT is committed to the promotion of realistic conservation management and effective wildlife protection, and places great value on the integration of research and education.
 

Our services include: 

• Experimental design and methodology development 
• Ecological field research (management through technician tasks): habitat evaluation, vegetation sampling, human-wildlife interface management, mammal trapping and handling, radio telemetry, nuisance wildlife management
